A day immediately after a scuffle in between wrestlers and cops escalated, the Delhi police on Monday mentioned that wrestlers will not be authorized to protest at Jantar Mantar as they broke the regulation in a frenzy in spite of repeated requests.

Defending the FIR registered against protesting wrestlers, DCP Suman Nalwa explained that wrestlers have been knowledgeable that the protest march to the new Parliament setting up can’t be authorized on the reported day and time.

“We knowledgeable protesting wrestlers beforehand that the protest march are not able to be authorized on the explained date and time but they remained stubborn on their demand,” she stated.

Chaos prevailed at Jantar Mantar immediately after clashes broke out among the wrestlers and the protection staff who attempted to end them from marching to the new Parliament setting up as it was being inaugurated.

Adhering to which, wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia along with other protesters ended up booked for rioting and obstructing public servant in the discharge of responsibility right after some of them ended up detained whilst marching to the new Parliament developing.
