The Letterman: Premium Times launches book on Obasanjo’s ‘secret’ letters (LIVE UPDATES)

The official start of The Letterman, a book authored by Premium TIMES’ Editor-in-chief, Musikilu Mojeed, holds in Abuja today.

All is established for the 492-web site narrative non-fiction to be unveiled before an audience of Nigerians which include prime dignitaries at the Bolton White Residences.

The Letterman: Within the ‘Secret’ Letters of previous Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, x-rays the position of letter producing in leadership, governance and politics.

It focuses on the former president and his fondness for speaking bluntly to subordinates, superiors, associates and foreign personalities – as a result of letters – not minding the reactions the letters might produce.

The e book curates some of the most significant and historical letters created and acquired by the former president. And a variety of these letters, written to dignitaries in Nigeria and close to the world, have under no circumstances been publicly observed.

Envisioned at the start is former President Goodluck Jonathan, who is the special guest of honour. A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Chairman of the Governing Council of Osun Condition University, Yusuf Ali, is the Chairman of the occasion.

The Catholic Archbishop of Sokoto Diocese, Hassan Kukah, who is the ebook reviewer, and a previous Chairman of the Federal Inland Profits Services (FIRS), Ifueko Okauru, the main presenter, are also expected at the celebration.

Other dignitaries who have confirmed attendance at the party are a former Governor of Ekiti Point out, Kayode Fayemi Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello a senator, Adelere Oriolowo a previous senator, Babafemi Ojudu, a previous Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi the Director Typical of the Nigeria Governors’ Discussion board, Asishana Okauru, and a previous Chairman of the Economic and Fiscal Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu.
