GTB suspends international transaction on naira cards

Nigerian Banks had in March diminished their regular monthly international paying restrict on naira playing cards citing “current industry realities on overseas exchange.”

Nigeria has endured an importation-fuelled international exchange crisis for decades, but the shortage worsened in 2021 with its export proceeds declining amid increaed supply for overseas exchange.
