Asari Dokubo threatens ‘trouble’ against Nigerian governor

A former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has threatened that the Rivers State Governor, Siminalaye Fubara, will have “trouble” from him if he (the governor) is looking for “trouble.”

Mr Dokubo said this in a viral online video posted on Twitter on Tuesday.

In the movie, Mr Dokubo is noticed sitting and surrounded by bodyguards – just one fanning him driving with a hand-admirer though a further donning a Fez cap, sits beside him with an AK-47 rifle.

Speaking in Pidgin English, the ex-militant chief mentioned, “We no seem for him problems make him sef no search for our hassle because if him glance for difficulties, him go collect…”

“Woto woto,” his supporters retorted.

Whilst Mr Dokubo did not mention Mr Fubara by identify, it is evident he was referring to the Rivers governor.

“Under the Structure of Nigeria regardless of whether him be governor or him be something we equal to am. him no be any one. He’s just an regular citizen like Dokubo Asari,” the previous militant chief stated.

Mr Dokubu hails from Asari-Toru Neighborhood Governing administration Spot though Governor Fubara hails from Opobo Nkoro Area Authorities Area. Each are elements of the Ijaw ethnic nationality.
