Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood Series Builds Its Cast Back Up

With that exciting new trailer for Dune: Section II arriving this week, there is no greater second to pile on a lot more fantastic Dune news. This time, it worries the lengthy-in-improvement Dune streaming series, Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood, which has added new cast customers as it moves ahead.

You may perhaps remember some of the past information to floor about Dune: The Sisterhood was about actors leaving the show—as Variety reminds us, Shirley Henderson (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) and Indira Varma (Activity of Thrones, Obi-Wan Kenobi) both equally still left in recent months, with Henderson’s exit owing to “creative changes” and Varma’s simply because of scheduling conflicts. But the series has now added Olivia Williams (The Crown, The Sixth Perception) and Jodhi Might (The Witcher), in accordance to the trade, which also notes Dune: The Sisterhood is still viewed as a “working title.”

According to Variety, “Williams will participate in Tula Harkonnen, although May plays Natalya. Set in the earth of Dune 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, the series follows the Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces that threaten the potential of humankind, and build the fabled sect recognized as the Bene Gesserit. The prequel is based on the novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.”

The Max clearly show has also extra Anna Foerster (Westworld, Underworld: Blood Wars) as director she replaces Johan Renck, yet another recent departure. The series is co-penned by Diane Ademu-Johnson, who developed the sequence, and Alison Shapker, who serves as showrunner. Between the show’s several executive producers are Denis Villeneuve, who directed Dune and Dune: Aspect Two, and Jon Spaihts, who co-wrote the Dune screenplays with Villeneuve. Dune: Element Two will strike theaters November 3.
