A soccer match in Australia’s top league was abandoned on Saturday after hooligans stormed the subject, with Melbourne Town goalkeeper Tom Glover strike in the head by a metallic bucket by 1 lover, leaving him bleeding.

The A-League match was involving Melbourne Metropolis and Melbourne Victory, fierce rivals who ended up taking part in each other at Melbourne’s AAMI Park.

Flares and smoke canisters were being thrown by hardcore supporters of each teams, who congregated at the two finishes of the stadium.

After a smoke canister landed around Glover he threw it again into a team of Melbourne Victory supporters, immediately after which enthusiasts stormed the subject.

Dozens of Victory supporters pushed more than external obstacles and confronted City players.

Through the chaos Glover was strike with a steel bucket, leaving him bleeding from the head.

In reaction referee Alex King suspended the match and it was later deserted.
